MEC4000   Advanced Bioengineering Research Project   (60 credits)

Description

The project is designed to develop students technical and scientific knowledge and understanding, technical and personal skills and an appreciation of the wider context of their studies. It gives students the opportunity to apply and develop further their knowledge and skills by applying them to a specific problem area. It is also intended to develop a greater level of student independence. The specific aims of the project are to:- provide students with the freedom to explore possible solutions to real engineering problems, allowing them to demonstrate their understanding of practical bioengineering.- enable students to exercise independent thought and judgement in conducting a technical and scientific investigation.
